Meet Anika, Specialist Midwife & Tongue Tie Practitioner London

My name is Anika, and I am an independent midwife and specialist tongue tie practitioner dedicated to supporting families across London and Greater London.

I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Midwifery from the University of Brighton in 2020 and am currently a registered member of the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC). With a deep passion for infant feeding and postnatal care, I have supported hundreds of families in navigating the challenges of early parenthood.

To ensure the highest clinical standards for my clients, I am currently undertaking Advanced Tongue Tie training with the renowned Carmelle Gentle and am working towards becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I am a proud member of the Association of Tongue Tie Practitioners (ATP) and provide care under the CQC-registered oversight of The Natal Network.

I believe that every feeding journey is unique, and clinical expertise should always be paired with compassion. My approach to tongue tie assessment and frenulotomy is gentle, holistic, and never rushed.
