If you suspect your baby may have a tongue tie, or if feeding has become a source of stress rather than connection, this service provides the clarity and expertise you need. My approach is calm and deeply rooted in supporting the unique feeding bond between you and your baby.

What the Specialist Consultation Includes:

• Comprehensive Feeding Review: We begin with a full holistic history, exploring your baby’s feeding symptoms, challenges, relevant medical and birth history, and your specific goals, whether you are breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, or a combination of both.

• In-Depth Clinical Assessment: A thorough evaluation of your baby’s oral function, appearance, and tongue mobility (available for babies up to 12 months).

• Personalised Feeding Support: 1.5 to 2 hours of dedicated time to observe a feed, refine positioning, and address immediate challenges.

• Recommendations: A clinical view on whether a division (frenotomy) is necessary, or if alternative feeding strategies would be more beneficial.

• Oral Exercises & Education: A demonstration of gentle oral exercises designed to support mobility and function.

Tongue-Tie Division (Frenotomy):

If a tongue-tie is identified and a division is clinically recommended, the procedure can usually be completed during the same appointment.

• A Gentle Approach: Performed with precision and care to ensure minimal discomfort for your baby.

• Immediate Support: I will stay to guide you through the first feed post-procedure, ensuring you feel confident and your baby is settled.

• Aftercare: You will receive a bespoke feeding plan if you need and information supporting oral healing.

• If a division is recommended and performed during your appointment.

I believe support shouldn't end when I leave your home. Every consultation includes:

• Peace of Mind Guarantee: A complimentary re-assessment after 4 weeks if you have concerns regarding re-attachment.

Additional Payment: £100 The division procedure fee is payable in person on the day of the appointment only if the division goes ahead.
